The business organisation AfriBusiness will on 22 November 2017 host a conference titled “The Blockchain revolution: What Bitcoin and its technology means to you”, about Bitcoin and the technology it includes.
Speakers include Dawie Roodt (Head Economist of the Efficient Group), Chris Becker (economist concerned with Blockchain technology at Investec), Andries Brink (CEO and founder of Andile Solutions) and Piet le Roux (CEO of AfriBusiness).
“While voices today are crying out for radical economic transformation, we look at Bitcoin and blockchains as radical economic technology. It is technology that will drastically – and for the better – change the way in which we do business, and how resistant our businesses are against government interference and political instability,” says Le Roux.
The conference is open to AfriBusiness members and the public. Only 400 seats are available and bookings are essential.
