The Ukrainian Trade Mission will visit South Africa from 14 to 16 April to explore trade opportunities. On 14 and 15 April the Mission will visit Pretoria and on 16 April they will visit KwaZulu Natal (Durban). The Mission will be chaired by the Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, Mr Taras Kachka; and the President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Mr Chyzhykov, will accompany the trade mission.  The Ambassador of Ukraine to South Africa, Her Excellency Liubov Abravitova, supports this Mission.

This envisaged visit provides the ideal opportunity for our members to attend a presentation where valuable business information will be shared, that include:

  • An overview of the Ukrainian industry;
  • Ukrainian-South African cooperation and its prospects; and
  • The mechanism for facilitating business partners.

Sakeliga will arrange business-to-business meetings for interested members. Attached hereto is a comprehensive list (use the link) of the delegation members and their area of interest. If you are interested in attending the presentation and meeting with a business counterpart on 15 April, please urgently contact our international relations consultant, Gerda Potgieter, via e-mail: [email protected] or telephonically on Cell number: 082 896 0955. The cutoff date is Friday, 9 April 2021 at 16:00.
